Democrat frontrunner Joe Biden has endorsed two voter referendums in Wisconsin that will cost taxpayers over a billion dollars combined at the same time the economy has taken a hit from the coronavirus crisis. Biden has taken the unusual step of expressing support for local issues in Milwaukee ($87 million) and Racine ($1 billion) as a candidate for president.
“Only Joe Biden could look at the coronavirus crisis and say, ‘You know what this situation needs? A tax increase!’ President Trump is leading the nation, doing everything he can to protect citizens’ health and safeguard the economy, while Joe Biden can’t help but talk about raising taxes. His plans for the Green New Deal, a government takeover of healthcare, and repeal of the Trump tax cuts would choke our economy at the worst possible time. President Trump’s policies built the economy up to historic heights and he is the only one equipped to take us back there again.”
